Jeff Lukas
COO
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeff has traveled the country helping families and their loved ones with substance use and mental disorders. His career started in Oklahoma as a counselor and patient advocate. Jeff has made it his focus to help each client get to the underlying problem behind their behavior and struggles. He has used his expertise in the fields of addiction, mental health, and family dynamics to consult with other facilities and their staff. Jeff has held various positions, from counselor to facility executive to owner of his facilities.
For the last twelve years, Jeff has exclusively focused on helping families break the generational cycle of addiction, behavioral problems, enabling, and codependency. Shifting the focus from the substance use and mental disorder client to the patient’s family dysfunction and maladaptive roles has resulted in a significant increase in successful outcomes. In addition to addressing generational cycles and family roles of dysfunction, Jeff contributes much of this increase in success, caused by changing the patient’s environment and addressing family enabling and codependence that holds the patient accountable for their behavior and actions.
For some, tough conversations are avoided at all costs, and challenging conversations are the most effective way to address the problem.
When not working, Jeff is happiest when he is with his family. His children, Marnie, Frank, and Emmie, are his most significant achievements, and he hopes to show them that, through honest communication and hard work, they can handle any problem that comes up in life.
